Mark Kreidler

A longtime sports columnist for ESPN, the Sacramento Bee and numerous national publications, Mark Kreidler still isn’t sure how he got roped into the broadcast game.  After appearing as a weekly guest on the Rise Guys show for nearly a decade, Mark awoke one morning to discover he’d been hoodwinked into getting up at 3:10 a.m. and driving to the studio five days a week.  (The hours have since improved.)

Mark’s sportswriting has been repeatedly honored, including his selection as one of the Top Ten Sports Columnists in the U.S. by The Associated Press.  He is the author of three nationally released books, “Four Days to Glory,” “The Voodoo Wave” and “Six Good Innings,” which is not about the Giants’ hopes for their starting rotation.  A native of Oklahoma, Mark is an unapologetic fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder, explaining, “It’s not our fault, Seattle.”
