March 10, 2019 - 12:00 am

Bullying in schools should never be tolerated. The Day of Silence was established in 1996 to highlight the impact of this on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) students.

This annual event is for school, college and university students to take a vow of silence for the day.The point of this is to bring attention to the silencing effect of bullying and harassment on LGBT students.
