The AD of the Charlotte 49ers joined Kyle Bailey and Matt Doherty today on the Clubhouse to discuss the breaking news that this Saturday's football game between the Charlotte 49ers and Carolina Tar Heels has been canceled.

Kyle first asked Mike how difficult the decision was to cancel the game in Chapel Hill as Mike told Kyle:

"In this scenario, the reality really set in when we looked at the contact tracing and we recognized that we could not safely play the game based on the attrition on the O-Line. It was a painful decision, but it was actually not that hard of a decision because there was nothing that we could do with the number of people quarantined, which made it very clear to all of us that we couldn't play."

Kyle then asked if the reality of this situation is that no matter how hard you try this situation will still happen and Mike thinks there is some truth to that as Mike feels very confident that Will Healy and the players are following all of the protocols to the best of their ability as Mike just says this just an unfortunate happening.

Before the end of the interview Kyle wanted to know if there is a chance that Carolina and Charlotte can fit a game in the 2020 season as Mike told Kyle it would be difficult and extremely unlikely considering that the 2 schools do not share an off week for the rest of the year.
