For the first time this season, the Milwaukee Brewers have put together a three-game winning streak to help take the four-game series against the Chicago Cubs.

The Brewers were down early again after Josh Lindblom allowed three earned runs in the 1st inning. Lindblom pitched five innings total, allowing five earned runs, four walks, and struck out eight batters.

Cubs starter Jon Lester started the game strong, but struggled against the bottom of Milwaukee's order. Orlando Arcia and Luis Urias recorded three hits each. Keston Hiura drove in the two of them on a three-run home run to tie the game in the 3rd inning. Arcia would give the Brewers a short lead after a two-run home run in the 5th inning.

Despite being placed in the leadoff spot for the second time in his career, Ryan Braun would drive in Arcia in the 7th inning on a base hit off of Jason Adam in the 7th inning.

Devin Williams and David Phelps were given a hold after combining for two scoreless innings and five strikeouts.

Josh Hader came into the 9th inning to earn his fifth save of the season.

The Brewers get Monday off but head to Minnesota on Tuesday to begin a three-game series against the Twins. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm. Make sure to tune in to The FAN before and after the game for the best Brewers coverage.
